Building to code is the minimum required.   Arktikos builds to a higher standard.  Arktikos works with local subccontractors and suppliers to ensure a steady progression of the project,  minimizing  scheduling delays.  Arktikos has contacts with regional sawmills and with salvage lumber suppliers.  having access to a variety of woods enables Arktikos to personalize your project.

              We love our home! Even though our plan was unconventional, Doug and the Arktikos crew built us a sound, well-engineered addition that turned  our cabin into a full-time home. The unique craftsman details they added inside and out blended the new and the old to make our home comfortable and attractive. Even though our home has a steel roof and fiber cement siding for fire resistance, it has a fitting hand-made, "northwoods" look that we enjoy very much.
